Color Theory

originally this started red, yellow, and blue paint. the purpose was to make a color wheel of the primary, secondary, and intermidiate colors for a total of 12 colors. then we were told to make some sort of design with the colors but somehow things got out of hands and this project became astronomical. the art teach thought that we, the engineering students, couldn't make some of the things that others have done.

after mixing the paint i cut out each peice which took me forever. then i went another way... DIGITAL... i scanned it and used photoshop to create the center. with that i created the color wheel ( [link] ) and i thought i was done with that. one day i was bored in physics and began to draw the hand and it turnned way better than i thought it would. the art teacher suggested that i use it wit the color wheel. so i took the design to photoshop **all mighty and powerful photoshop** and i did copy and paste for all 12 hands. i didn't like the plain white background so i added a cloud effect. ^_^

so this is what i am turning in once i come up with some "artist's" statement
